The Cook with Us team, @offoodandart, @pandamama and @chefsteve want to thank everyone that participated in the @docsmith hand-crafted knife contest. You all really impressed us with your cooking skills and your support of your fellow competitors. We also want to thank the talented and generous @docsmith for making a beautiful chefs knife for the contest. It was an honor for us to host this contest and we look forward to doing more of these events in the future.
@atmemestable, @lizelle and @foodforsoul you guys rocked this contest! You should all feel proud of your work. Let me tell you that this week was even harder to judge than last week!
Before we get to the winner we want to remind you that we are taking some time off and we will be back in October for season 3. So, keep an eye out for updates. Also, we do not have a photo of the finished knife yet. @docsmith is putting the final touches on the knife and will be done in a few days. We will make a post of the knife for everyone to see in a few days. One last thing that we will ask of the winner is to make a post about your knife when you receive it. We think that it would be wonderful for everyone to see you with your new handmade knife.

Just wanted to say that you guys @foodforsoul @lizelle and @atmemestable did an amazing job and if my knife was in any way inspirational, I am proud and humble beyond speech.
It was unbelievably hard to pick the best of you, in the end, at least for me, it all come down to slight nuances.
I am sorry that the knife is not yet done but I lost a few weekends to business trips, and I didn't want to rush things up and deliver a half-product. I promise that you will see the knife in all her glory this weekend.

Wow wow wow! This is most unexpected. I couldnβt dream of a better end to this week. Iβve been away from the kitchen for the last couple of days due to an unfortunate event with some lamb from the local market. I thought for a second of never setting foot in the kitchen. But this prize definitely cheered me up. Congratulations to @lizelle and @atmemestable. It had been one wonderful contest and youβve been strong competitive challengers and cooks.
