Beautiful trifle! Every component looks delicious and has its own flavor and texture to offer. But then again, I do have a weakness for custards. Then there’s the berries and the jelly, the ouma se wyn and the nuts, plus the whipped cream and flaky chocolate. Heaven! Christmas or not, this trifle would be a hit for me and my family.

Thank you for the lovely comments @offoodandart, I think the longing for a white Christmas with all the traditional hot dishes is the reason there are some Christmas in July events organised here in South Africa. We thoroughly enjoyed this trifle!
