I don't think I've seen any acoustic instrument builder do this, but I think I may be on the track of a great little solution to tuning stability.
As always, I don't claim to "know better" than other builders, but I do not feel too scared to try new things. This, in my opinion, seems pretty tame if I'm honest.
But let me know...

Seems a worthwhile experiment. I doubt it would reduce the resonance of the instrument as long as it isn't in contact with front or back.

I think their designs are interesting, but I think that close inspection of the pics at their website reveals that you pay more attention to fit and finish and have far higher standards as a luthier IMHO.
