I read at least four articles at UK, Asia, and Australia saying malaria medicine and HIV-virus medicine can kill coronavirus very quickly and cleanly. Those countries are already using those to treat their patients.
Biology 101 Explanation for Virus vs. Antibody War
Virus attack our cells at different places or organs in our body. Corona and others like HIV and malaria viruses may have different places and parts of our bodies they thrive at, but the primary functionality of viruses don't change. All viruses destroy our basic cell structure identities in DNA, tricking our constantly replicating cells to make their false identities (DNA) instead of new cells of our cells with our identity DNA. When the virus invasion is successful, those colonies of new false DNA cells turn those "infected areas" to something else. If our body's antibodies cannot conquer them in time, we can die. Suppose some parts of lungs are infected via viruses, the cells at some areas of lungs are not lung anymore. Thus, lung can stop functioning, so we die. Our immune system fight those false cells via killing them and getting rid of them. In the meantime, our body must be able to repair those damage parts or areas quickly to keep us alive and turn us back to normal.
Our immune system has memories. It cannot recognize the bad invader right away if it has never seen it before until it starts to do some damage. This ability to recognize the shapes or geometry of the virus DNA and what is needed to fight and repair is the job of the mRNA, the protein structure that runs around and carry messages and resources to fight off the bad cells. Our body can naturally produce or shape the needed shape of the mRNA to finally conquer the virus problems, but artificially produced mRNA (drug) can help too. Who lives and who dies from this process usually comes from
- how quickly the body immune system can recognize the problem,
- kill the bad cells,
- grow them back quickly, and
- get rid of the dead mutated cells.
Not being efficient and quick at each of the steps above cause someone to die. Anyone who understands real useful facts of basic biology will know much of the facts above.
