SARS-CoV-2 is like a blend of the very worst elements of the common cold, SARS, and HIV put together

This sounds really scary. I never thought SARS-CoV-2 attacks immune cells, I guess I was wrong.
Does this means that we should be more concerned about building our immunity to fight the virus than fighting the virus itself?
