I agree with you, @edos2k8
But, our 'leaders' have been learning, just like students going to school learning and unable to do anything meaningful with the knowledge.
When do you think we can start seeing the result of what they seem to be learning?
I do not like democracy. I like constitutional, representative republics over democracies.
Switzerland is a democracy.
Do you like democracies?
In my country Switzerladn the people regularly vote on matters eg financing construction of schools, public spaces, infrastructure etc. and we also vote in laws. We also have the power to recall laws passed by out parliament. You ask me if I like democracy, yes. It is not flawless but it is better than most systems. And we enjoy one of the highest qualities of life in Switzerland. If you need proof that democracy works then Switzerland is that proof.
