Fourteen music journalists compiled a list for Rolling Stone magazine depicting the 100 Greatest Country Artists of All Time - http://www.rollingstone.com/country/lists/100-greatest-country-artists-of-all-time-w486191 Not trying to put any spoilers out, but there are some pleasant surprises in the compilation and as it happens with lists like that, some (grave) omissions - some artists may be to high, some too low, but that has also to do with personal taste.
Go see for yourself, but before you go sneak at who's who and where are they placed, write down your own Top Ten and see how they fit into the list. And, big AND - before you start screaming that Bobby Lee and Bobbie Lou are missing, be aware that the compilation chronicles the whole 90 years of Country Music history.
