Looking to get your online course created fast and published to Udemy? Here are the minimum requirements to get 'er done!
In a hurry to develop and launch your course? Here’s the simplest course you can make and sell on Udemy that still meets their submission guidelines.
Am I saying you should ONLY do this? Nope, but if you’re in a hurry to get into the market, I suggest you “MVP” the heck out of your course and then circle back later to add more content as required.
Here’s the list:
PRODUCTION QUALITY
- HD Video (720p Min) 16:9 export ratio
- Good Audio (STEREO – both channels)
- 'Decent' Lighting (Natural light is fine.)
CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
- Min 5 lectures
- Min 30 minutes of CONTENT (60% of which is VIDEO [min 18min])
- Curriculum MUST include an OVERVIEW lecture video and it’s a good idea to include a PROMO video too.
- Course Image Must be 16:9 (2048 x 1152 pixels minimum)
TEACHING TIPS
- A section teaches a SINGLE SKILL
- A section contains 3-5 lectures
- A lecture reaches a SINGLE CONCEPT
- A lecture contains 3-5 points re: concept
