After a really nice turnaround on the engagement in my previous post about your favorite song (found a lot of new great songs through it) I figured it's time to get into cover songs.
At one point I was browsing through many youtube channels looking for covers of songs I really liked and often times they brought back some of the magic that the song had when you first started listening to it, they were basically reviving it and making it enjoyable again after I had listened to them to death.
Recently I stumbled upon this cover of a great song from one of my favorite bands Arctic Monkeys, but in case you haven't heard the original I'll post that one first, then the acoustic cover of it from the same band and then the cover that I felt changed it quite a bit and let me enjoy it once more.

I had heard of arctic monkeys but never actually listened to any of their songs before. This song is pretty dope tho.

Met this guy's sister while streaming. She asked me to play her brothers music and was surprised at the quality. This cover makes me want to listen to more of his music (he also does a popular "Feel Good Inc" cover that is worth checking out).

One of my all time favorite covers is one done by John Mayer called free falling. I believe Tom Petty is the original song creator. I love the way the guitar sounds 👌😁

I love John Mayer(no homo).
I only recently discovered his music and it feels as though I found a piece of my soul that was lost long ago. His music is so peaceful and relaxing.
Yeah, I think he’s an amazing singer/guitarist. He’s one of my favorite musicians and I’ve listened to so much of his music, time and time again. He’s got so many great songs and he’s one of the main reasons I started playing guitar.
