Here we present you a cover song of a genre consolitaded by the brazilian guitar in the late nineteenth century . This genre is called Choro and have many representatives like Pixinguinha, Altamiro Carrilho and Jacob do Bandolim.
The song we cover here is called Choro pro Zé and was composed by Guinga and recorded for the first time in 1993, in the album Delírio Carioca [Carioca Delirium]. Choro pro Zé make references to two other music called Chorando Baixinho [Crying Soflty] by Abel Ferreira and Saxofone Porque Choras? [Saxophone Why Do You Cry?] by Ratinho on its lyrics.
