Remember back in the days before the pandemic when we would speak of new variants as simply the beginning of flu season? Never used a flu vaccine in my life and literally cannot remember the last time having contracted the flu. My age puts me in the danger demographic for covid, yet my plan is to continue to depend on my natural immunity to see me through... or not. This covid thing seems a lot more than just a health issue to me.

I stopped getting the flu shot around the time (8 ish years?) I became more aware of touching my face/door handles. Haven't gotten sick since.
Perhaps Ive just been lucky but it seems I always got the flu the years I got the shot.
Good protocol. Remembering in the 70's in India sharing a room with another traveler as yellow with jaundice as one could be. Was around a lot of contagious shit when out there for some months. Always carrying the awareness of what makes contact with the mouth. Made it back to the west in good shape. Maybe that's how meditation got started out that way. 😎
It does require mindfulness.
