Back to work in person tomorrow

in #covid195 years ago

Not much to say about it other than I'm really not looking forward to public transport or being physically in an office and a lift to the 17th floor that scores of others will have used. If I owned a company and people were productive from home I wouldn't let my workers be the first back in the office after restrictions are lifted. Let others be the guinea pigs. I don't get it at all. It's optics for optics sake. The owner is a dinosaur and would wake the fuck up if he or his wife (70-80s) or children in their 40s and 50s got it. The owner is a cunt who fired people on the spot so I'm going to go with the flow for now even though my thinking brain says fuck no.

I have exercise induced asthma and selective IGA disorder which both probably put me more at risk than an average 28 year old. But Canadian employment law doesn't protect the employee like Irish law does so I value my job too.
