cowards among us

Well me fellow Steemitians I just stumbled to this community a day ago. Feeling very happy about my find and eager to learn and try to do something that I don't like to do. Talk to an audience thru post or blog. While I was posting my introduction my mind was working overtime in the background. You see yet another black male gunned down by the very people that is to protect us. Usual business for America. Just 2 minutes ago my son a 16yr old young humble, very obedient love everybody as well as me. His words to me was "they just killed another one of us". Please !! Can some tell me what am I suppose to say to him when his heart is hurting just as bad as mine. I'm very angry rite now. I know this can happen to any black man in America at any time. I experienced it quite often. I use to get harass by the cowards from a precinct close to my home everyday on my way home. I eventually sold the business because I was afraid I would eventually retaliate and be labeled a terrorist. A few years ago my two youngest would of told you that racism don't exist and I use to get so mad at them for believing that. Now, just over those two years there eye has seen so much. So once again, what can I tell him to mend his hurting heart. Myself I can't really say how I really feel or what i would like to do or what I wish some people would do in those situations. Today, I'm not proud to be an American. All I can say is that I have had enough. I Can't finish without saying I Love Every one and wish that all the cowards will get what they deserve but I know they will only get praises here in America.
