I'm not usually the flowery type. Yes, I like taking photos of flowers, as you can see on my recent morning posts (the jewelry posts are my evening posts for this current challenge), but I don't wear "cute" flowery stuff, I won't usually walk around with flower jewelry, etc. However, sometimes one feels like doing something different, and when I saw those small, delicate flower pendants, I knew I had to try a different style to make them work well. And so, I surrounded them with a massive silvery ring, that - in my opinion - makes them pop instead of hiding them. That way, the flowers seem more prominent and colorful than they would have otherwise.
Also, this pair of earrings was the first I've ever worn. While I love making earrings, my ears have never been pierced, and I'd like to keep it that way (I don't have tattoos or other types of piercing either, it's a personal thing, nothing religious or more general than that). Recently, though, I got my first order of clip earring bases, and so I could start converting those I love most, and just... wear them!
So to this pair I can definitely attest that they are very nice on the ear, they're actually not as heavy or clumsy-looking as I was afraid they would be, and they make the nicest gentle clanking sound that I liked quite a bit. I'll add a photo at the end of the post.
