A creative Idea, but I think that will create quite some problems as Steemit grows. As I understand the tags are for people that want to find different subject matters. Granted, this system is not working well yet, but give them time to up date it. Isnt your idea the same as just directing your fans to your blog page?
You are viewing a single comment's thread from:
no, because the tag is not just for my posts, it's for anyone who uses the tag, so its my posts and all my friends posts, we all support each other
you have allot of steem power, would you support the tag?
Im still trying figure out how the categorization system is meant to work. It is obvious that it is not currently working correctly on this beta version. From where I currently sit, I think what i would like to see are standard categories (not sure how they will implement this on decentralized system) and the fixing of the "follow" feature. I suspect the "follow" is on their list of fixes to be implemented soon. That said, I could be wrong so keep posted on your initiative. I'll be following with interest...
My approach is that as steemit grows, there will be a wide range of different types of bloggers with different types of mindsets. What we are doing with the #craigrant tag is like a Steep Power mining pool of positive people with similar interests
Promotion is inherent to any system like steem or facebook, or a publishing job in capitalism. Self promotion is good, group promotion is great, but it is left to the people to decide what to read in the end.
