So. Did ever happen to you that you started a drawing, yet somehow ended doing like six sketches at the same time? Something like that happened to me. I’m still working on Hakuno, I promise you, but as my progress is slow I thought: ‘I should just start uploading things as I make them.’ So here is this. Another drawing of an OC.
Since I liked the style, I decided to embrace it, so perhaps consistency will not be a problem from now on. As for coloring… we will see.
Enough of that, tho. This is Saeko. Under normal circumstances, she looks like she could kill you, but is actually a cinnamon roll… deep down.
"Here it is, another of my OC."
How I wish I can say that more often in my blog posts. I keep getting tempted to create fanarts of game characters.
As for your question at the beginning, it never happened to me before. For me it was always I started a drawing, yet somehow ended with no finished drawing at all.
...Yeah.
I like your character design and would love to hear more about her personality if you ever want to write about it. She's looking great! She looks like she's about to go to a party to me, and with that a bit worried(?) expression and pose, saying something like "How do I look?"
Fanart is good, I basically did just that for a whilw xD
As for never ending a drawing before, I feel you. I hardly get to finish anything as well.
Also, massive kudos to you! Because you pretty much nailed it. That's exactly what I tried to convey, albeit she's preparing for a date rather than a party.
I won't mind talking about her in the next posr, I just didn't because I thought no one would care for my OC's story hehe. Guess I was wrong.
Yes. Though given that back when I was a tryhard novel writer it was perfectly normal for me to have at least 2-3 things on the go, it was only natural that this continued when I transitioned into
animationbecoming a studiobecause I'm an idiot!. Doing several things at once as a studio is slightly harder than writing or drawing several things at once though XDAnyway the moral of that was it's perfectly normal (whether or not it's "good" or "bad" depends on how you feel about it and how it's affecting other things you're doing).
Nothing wrong with having multiple styles (I have three XD), consistency does speed up your drawing though, maybe that's why you've got so many on the go now :D
Ahh this one is one of those is she XD Do your characters have interacting storylines? (sorry you've probably explained this before and I'm just derp)
Saeko is... special, but you can't honestly blame her once you get to know her story.
As for the interacting storylines thing, some do while others don't. It's not something I explained before, don't worry xD
Shayla & Evelyn have interacting storylines. However, they have nothing to do with Hakuno and Saeko.
Hakuno herself is an OC made for a fanfiction, lol. Started off just as the MC's new identity, but things... scalated. Fast.
Then there's Saeko, whose origins are unnecesarily complicated. Long-story short: my friends and I started a new roleplay game, only the GM was like 'let's make this a crazy trip across the multiverse' and we went W I L D.
The only thing I was worried about was having been told something before but forgetting (because my memory is weird), so yay XD
I totally understand about things escalating fast XD I originally got onto my current batch of characters by redrawing some fan characters as humans (and then realising one of them was missing parts and adding wings, horns and tail to him "for no apparent reason" as I described it at the time but the real reason is I just have to do whatever these things tell me to XD) because an old friend told me that they were "too cool to be fan characters" after reading a scene I'd thrown in a forum for critique.
We all start somewhere(?) Also "too cool to be fan character" what an iconic line xDDDDD

You have done the character design and sketches very well. Even if your progress is slow, but you have a very beautiful face. Dew is not easy to create such a picture design.
Thank you! Yes, pretty faces are very challenging. And well, the process is slow because I work 13 hours a day and then we have the usual power problems, soo- I'm not lazy, just tired(???)
