Hello guys!
Today I'll write a new episode of my STEP2STEEM initiative. The name comes from the union of step to step on the steem blockchain. This is a simple initiative with which I'll explain what I make when I post-produce a shot that I took with my smartphone.
In this episode, I'll utilize a shot that I took last days along the road in Luni's Zone.
Above, the original pic. While I was biking in Luni, I stopped and took this shot. I think that it is a mix of rural and countryside photos.
In the first step, I cut my pic in vertical size.
I desaturated to obtain a very basic black and white picture.
I changed the level of the black-point to darken the darks and middle tones.
Then I utilized an adjustment level to lightened and partially burns the brighter colors.
In the next step, I utilized 2 adjustment levels: in the first, I darkened the grass; in the second I lightened the sky.
In conclusion, I discolored the entire image because I wanted to obtain a not-100% black. Then I created a vignetting along the pic's borders. That's ok: I removed the picture noise in the sky and I finished my post-production activities.
