Once upon a time, brilliant British artist Steve Cutts used to work at an advertising agency with global corporate clients including Coca Cola, Google, Reebok, Virgin, Toyota and more. One day, he decided that using his creative talents to promote the sale of more crap that no one really needs was a bad idea, so he quit to become a freelance animator and illustrator.
Now that he works for himself, Cutts can select his clients and has chosen to work with those aligned more with his own personal ethics, namely UNESCO, The Gia Foundation, & LMFM, amongst others. He’s also created a couch gag for ‘The Simpsons’, and has worked for major networks like Adult Swim & BBC Channel 4 in the UK.
Frequent topics lampooned by Cutts are the killing of animals for sport; the exploitation & abuse of humans in service of manufacturing unsolicited, undesired junk; the absurdity & meaninglessness of the 9-5 corporate lifestyle; environmental & spiritual destruction wrought by consumerism; the licentiousness of what is branded & sold as “news”; the global totalitarianism & greed of corporations & conglomerates in service of grotesque amounts of wealth, much more.

The intention is to bring art & artists exposure to people who may never run across their work, hopefully enriching the lives of the both parties. If you know or want an artist featured please contact me. I am always looking for talented individuals to promote. These posts can also be found at: https://beta.cent.co/@erixink
