Oh, thank you! I believe we will finally get on the road and head into the mountains on Thursday. A snowstorm just went through the area last night and I want to give it another full day to make sure the roads are clear. I believe the eastern slopes of the Rockies got up to ten inches of snow. Yikes! :-)

Sounds like an exciting adventure ahead! I'm excited for you just thinking about the magical photographs of freshly fallen snow you're going to be gifted with! Try to get me a photo or two of footprint tracks from wildlife left in the snow for me. Keith's travel list: fuel up the tank, bring a snow shovel, throw in extra blankets, charge up the portable power station, and find your snow boots! @keithboone Have fun & drive safely!!!
All very good advice! I'll see if I can find you some mountain lion tracks... or more likely, a squirrel :-)
Lol! A mountain lion would be impressive. I'll enjoy any snowy footprints you find, even squirrels! Your northern squirrels are a rusty color more like chipmunks, while the ones by me are silver/gray.
I suppose I could try for bear or wolf prints... oh! or bighorn sheep!
Game on, Keith!
