Paper Star Tutorial!

Hello hello! Today I'm sharing a brief explanation on how to make these star-shaped paper figures, hope you enjoy!

All you will need will be:

  • A strip of paper (Around 2-4cm width, but it has to be long)

First of all, make a small knot on one end, make sure you do it gently to not rip the paper apart.

Slowly tighten both ends, until it takes a 'perfect' pentagon shape.

The smaller strip, you'll tuck it inside and leave the longer side loose.

Then you start folding the longer strip around the already formed shape. Every time, going towards the opposite from where you officially bent it from. When your paper strip can be tucked under a strip of paper, you do that. Repeat until you run out of paper.

Once you finish and you only have a small part of paper strip left, you tuck it inside the nearest crease. Make sure its long enough to not fall out, if its too short just tear a small apart and tuck in on the other side.

Once its a full pentagon, you have to slowly push every side towards the inside with your fingertips, until it shapes into a star.

That's all for today, you can also try this with various colors and designs for more variety if youre doing a big gift for someone.
