I really love the style here. It's a combination of anime with Charlie Brown eyes! :D
I like the depth...and lack of depth. It's almost like it's set on a stage with props and wooden cutouts, and some poor little elementary school girl is scared to death of her first role in a big play. This should be a whole picturebook :)

@therneau's Oupa was my dad, truly a great inventor, but too trusting and a gentle soul. I fully understand @therneau wanting to do this for his Ouma (or OuMama as he called her). I still use the original gem squash cutter and another of his great inventions, a tart or snack platter carrier. Good luck with the competition :):)
I am going to have to investigate this invention further. (had a look) Oh it's a jerky cutter! I was totally expecting a gemstone cutter or something because of the name.

This is an amazing invention. I love it! The older generation really have great ways of getting things done. Tell Ouma we know it was Oupa and that South Africa has too many skelms for us not to believe it @therneau.

The judging is based upon the other post that is delayed by one week in order to give everyone a fair go, each vote is equal, and the only time the 'value' on the comments and the $$ comes into play is if two entries with the exact same amount of votes, then value of votes.
