I find the older I get I have found a need to connect up with my inner child. There is two reasons to help this wee little girl heal and to unleash my inner child's playful nature and unbounding creativity. The other day I went and bought some kids paints and experimented blending colors. I tapped into my child "Donna" to come up with what I would imagine the colour of she/him would be. I came up with the perfect combination and found it oh so very empowering as I named my colour SHIM. Had a lot of fun and recognized how much creativity I had locked away, blocked and stuffed.
Here is Action Four unleash the child within:
Find a few photographs of yourself when you where a kid, four or five years old. Put one of the pictures in a place where you would view the picture often ( I put mine in a frame on my bedside table). This is the person you need to find. This is person you need to find. This is the reminder that your imagination still exists. You are still a creative being who can dream up amazing things. You're just a little rusty.
Well all have that inner child in my opinion. We are all really still kids, just acting like "grown ups".. :)
It's true. I always ask my 18 year old granddaughter why she is more mature then me she just says" Nana it just is". Love it.
Lol that is awesome.
