Seems like my yesterday new purchases started a new hobby in my life. I heard before that if you buy one creative notebook you'll never stop afterwards (well, at least you have a high chance on that), and seems like I've been caught here. I'm already thinking about what else I can order in my favorite books market.
Yesterday I also was filling some pages of these new diaries, and what I must say - they really have some magical effect on me. This process is somehow close to meditation, and since I'm not a fan of classic versions of meditation I use alternatives. Doodling is one of them, by the way, and I would really like to have another sketchbook with blots. At the moment I'm thinking about making one myself.
There's a really great exercise for artists. You make a blot, and then you think how you can finish it to to create a drawing. This exercise is really great for making your imagination work better. So, I looked for such notebook, and they really existed, but they're all sold. OK, may be I'll wait for another edition. Or will really just do it myself:)

My notebook addiction got so bad that I was actually able to sell half of them for a profit. It is amazing the things you can find in the clearance sections of some stores.
Never thought to start with a blot :) I normally live in the world of words and numbers. Looking forward to trying this.
