Everyone is creative. "Very creative" people see their creativity and devote their time to their creativity. They work on it and do not mind to make mistakes. If you want to be a very creative person, these strategies will do the trick:
1. Create: Quality is reached after many attempts.
You want to create something great - a literary work, an art, a product or a method. Create garbage. A lot of garbage. As you continue to create garbage that does not work, you will stimulate your mind to create something new and exciting all the time. If you wait for the perfect idea, you are waiting forever.
2. Take time for your creativity.
Everyone is busy. Very creative people should spend time to work on their creative projects. There is no other way. Do not wait till you have more time. Even if you have only five minutes a day, that's enough.
3. Become a player: Collect toys and tools for your creativity.
Children love toys and very creative people love to play. Working with your hands is a form of meditation. If you want to go to your house, make a model plane, cook five kinds of food or make a sweater, do not stop. These will make you more creative.
4. Ask questions. The question is everything.
Be creative by asking questions. Especially ask about yourself; but at the same time about everything in your circle. The 5N 1K responses are essentially accepted questions in aggregate information. Use them to question the world and increase your creativity.
5. Trust your instincts.
Your creativity depends on your instincts. We are all intuitive creatures. While our ancestors in the Stone Age were both hunting and escaping from hunting, they should not take into consideration the spirits from their subconscious and could not last ten minutes. Improve your creativity by creating space for your instincts in your life.
6. Set limits and create within these limits.
Create constraints to be more creative. The simplest limitation is to set a time limit that is not open to debate for a creative work. See if you can finish this restriction. The key is that if you do not have enough time or your budget, do your job. Force yourself to find creative solutions to these limitations.
7. Wherever you are most creative go there.
Remember a moment when your mind is a great idea. Maybe you were not in your office; you were in the gym, going to work or drinking coffee at a bar. Creative inspirations emerge suddenly from your subconscious while your conscious mind is engaged in a task you can do without thinking.
8. Drinking. A beer or a glass of wine can make you more creative.
You can not be creative when you are drunk; but it can open up your creativity by allowing a glass of wine to loose enough of your restrictions.
9. Scribble something.
When you draw something, you use the creative and intuitive right side of your brain. You do not have to be artistic; just shove something on a small piece of paper for a few minutes. Then ask yourself what your drawings tell you and write your answers on a piece of paper.
10. Get a pen. Handwriting can make you more creative.
Research shows that writing handwriting makes the person more creative and at the same time strengthens memory. You try too. Write notes and ideas in a corner. Writing a handwriting can give you a fresh insight.
11. Work hard. Efforts. And release the progeny.
Creative breakthroughs emerge when you work hard on something. Intensive fighting is necessary. If you are connected to a project, go ahead. Work hard. And finally release the progeny. Your breakthrough will come as a sudden inspiration when you are dealing with other things.
12. Map your mind. Establish connections using a concept map.
Concept maps help you to think and develop your creative grip. To create a concept map, draw a circle in the middle of a piece of paper and write it in the circle. Draw lines as branches spread the circle and add a word to each branch.
