I was going to make a joke about the Roro when I first started reading this post, but there is no point after reading the rest about Elin.
The writer Heinlein had a famous character make this quote
The penalty for stupidity is death
But we can not ever say these victims deserved to die. This is tragedy, not justice. I know that's not what you meant, I'm saying this to make my own words clearer.
We need to teach critical thinking skills, not repetition of "feel-good" dogma in our schools so that our societies are not overwhelmed by the kind of thinking that got Elin killed.
So true, so true. It is a tragic case, and it has just gotten worse.
According to @proctologic he will be released from Jail in 2-3 years since a Swedish Prison-year is 9 months and not 12 (logic?)
we have the same "mercy to the guilty" mindset here in America, but our "frontier justice" mindset that balances that; the political strength between those mindsets ebbs and flows
it would be a damn shame if the murderer had a fatal accident a coupla days after his release...justice comes in many forms
I just ran across this
Second Swedish Police Officer Blows the Whistle on Migrant Crime Cover-Up !!! Code 291 is used to hide "all information about the immigration-related crime".
it is sickening. It won't take long before all Swedish officials have emigrated to another country themselves. Weak. Bought and Paid for. Sweden has been sold.
