The European Union's (EU) member states expressed the hope to work together on recent decisions taken by the United States. At the EU summit in Bulgaria's capital Sofia, members of the United States have agreed on this.
During the conference, discussions regarding the decision of US President Donald Trump to import duty on steel and aluminum from Europe and China, to cancel the nuclear deal with Iran, to embassy in Jerusalem, and to leave the Paris and Paris Ecosystem Agreement.
On the eve of EU's summit in Sofia, European Council President Donald Task strongly criticized the US president saying, "If there is such a friend, no enemy will be needed."
After the summit meeting, it has been said that leaders of 28 countries in Europe will be systematically working for international policies based on their unanimity on international politics. The international nuclear deal with Iran will continue. US sanctions will be created to protect the financial losses of the institutions if European commercial firms are trading with Iran and the United States.
In the meeting, discussions on imposition of US tariffs on import of steel and aluminum from Europe from June 1. It is said that such a decision without any logical permanent solution, involving the payment of a pistol on the head. 28 countries agreed to settle the matter through diplomatic negotiations. Countries think that there might be discussions about energy issues if they want trams.
Note that the United States is interested in exporting liquid gas to Europe. So far, Russian fluid gas is being exported to Germany by pipeline with Baltic Sea.
Sophia's conference hoped that the World Trade Organization will discuss issues related to the export of US products in the European market by reforming certain rules and regulations of European Union countries.
Although there were discussions about the membership of six European Union members in the West Balkan region, there was no specific decision on this.
