Good afternoon! Happy Sunday! So I posted earlier in the week showing some of the crochet items I’ve been working on, I thought I’d show some of the items I’ve made using a new technique I learned not to long ago!
It is called Amigurumi crochet...

Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed dolls, animals or creatures with yarn. The word is a mixture of the two Japanese words , ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

Amigurumi Originated in , Japan where it’s been used for many , many decades! It has become a lot more popular world wide in the last few years.
Pikachu “ I chose you!”
Making these “usually” small fugues is quite tedious & takes time. It is crocheted using the same basic stitches as we do for the common crochet , only it’s smaller, tighter & u use a lot more of those little stitches to create them.

These little guys took me a couple 2-3 days.. cause they are so little.. and because I can’t just sit around all day crocheting, as much as I’d like to do , I must feed my kids.. lol if I just sat down & was able to do it without stopping I could make one in a day😉 but I’ve been crocheting for a few years!

Same with my oldest 2!! I showed my youngest this and she is now going to learn to crochet apparently haha! You blew her mind!
Haha that’s awesome! It’s so fun!! Great for cold winter days when u get bored ! I’m gonna make some newborn hats today for the hospital NICU😁 it’s freezing outside right now! Not going out!! Keep warm & stay safe!!

Oh man. My brother would love the Star Wars ones. I think he actually tried at one point to do some and gave up because he didn't know how to crochet. All of these are pretty awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm loving your blog. :)
