That look she has...
I have seen that look before.
That is clearly a look of self awareness and boldness, in self reliance and truth...
I have seen it in windows in passing and in mirrors also.
That's the look of passion and wisdom. I have likewise seen it in Willow's (Melissa's 7yr old daughter) eyes. That young girl is a naturalist at many things.
When we first met, she sized me up, looked through me, and sat right down next to me and asked what we are watching.
I immediately looked at her mother and said this one is a natural Reiki practitioner.
Turns out I couldn't have been more right. She is, in fact, quite an accomplished young Reiki naturalist! Her mother said to me: "You had no way of knowing that; I never told you that!"
She hadn't told me either.
There was a mutual recognition process that happened so fast, it was mind blowing to witness, and also be a part of. It's sad when people forget that some leaders are born with an otherworldly awareness which gets called all sorts of derogatory or other stigmatized words to describe that which is seemingly unexplainable.
I have seen and heard wisdom and knowledge come from younger and older people.
Most apparent these days is that knowledge doesn't always come from the eldest in the room, unfortunate for some...
Unfortunate indeed.

One of my FB friends had commented that
"her parents 'Brainwashed' her" which is what spawned this dialogue and inspired this post.
Me being sarcastic about myself:
"Fuck, I hate that my dad brainwashed me by telling me to think for myself and question everything, including him and what he taught me.
That's really sad eh???"

"Maybe they told her to think for herself and not fall prey to the collective brainwashing of society."
