I sang in a women’s choir in New Mexico in the 1990s. Rehearsals took place at the choir director’s house, in the living room next to the kitchen. Every rehearsal day at lunch her professor husband would walk home from class and make himself a BLT....EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I’m sure every woman in that room was ready to hurt him in some way by the time rehearsals were over. Unforgettable fragrance, those BLTs. Unfair not to share.
