My 2 cents on investing in crypto: if you have any more than little pocket change in cryptos, it is a really good idea to invest in some safe storage solution. Never trust the exchanges with your money. Trezor and Ledger Wallet are popular solutions. Paper wallets are cheap, but a bit more hassle to use. I started with paper wallets but upgraded to Ledger Nano and now Ledger Nano S. The Nano S should be quite future-proof, as new currencies can be added just by tweaking the software.
