The Bittrex team just announed that they are removing support for 82 coins, named below.
As the title of my article says, I honestly believe some have not heard or forgotten that Bittrex is now taking fiat money for people wanting to buy crypto, and as such are regulated and this has something to do with that and or the resources used to upkeep certain coins, they regularly delist coins not making them money.
Steem / SBD will still be supported, so not on their hit list.

Bittrex states the coins with an " * " beside their name is due to problems with that coin's blockchain / wallet etc. regarding deposits/withdrawals, etc.
They state :
"These actions are taken to ensure customers have access to digital tokens that continue to meet our strict coin listing criteria and have a properly functioning blockchain and wallet."
The coins marked with an asterisk (*) have broken blockchains or wallets that will not allow withdrawals. In those cases, the inability to withdraw your balance is not due to the Bittrex Exchange platform, but is caused by a problem with the underlying blockchain or wallet associated with that coin.
Ensure your coins are sold/traded or moved by March 30, 2018!!

Long term this is probably a positive thing!
Yeah, I agree to a point. There are so many s#it coins it is nice to purge some of the garbage. However the centralized exchanges are going to be nothing but trouble when things start to pop. Remember last year when bitcoin would spike centralized exchange wallets would go down?
Hey I got locked outta my account sadly. This is my new one. My first post is a video of me proving it’s me. Sucks it’s like totally starting over all cause I messed up my password when I backed it up :(
If you were following me @geneeverett please shoot me a follow here as this is my account now. Again I do a vlog showing this is me as my first post late last night!
Hi, thanks for this information, i think cryptos are the future, but there are many especulations. hugs
thats a shitload of cryptos!... Just curious, are they allowing new members yet?
Thanks for this information :)
You are welcome my friend, always nice to hear from you HP.
Interesting. I don't think any of the coins I'm in are on the list (I didn't notice any, anyway). I haven't logged onto Bittrex since probably sometime in early or mid-February, because there hasn't been any point. Everything is down, so I don't want to keep obsessively refreshing my account page all day to know when to buy or sell. I'd rather not know how far my portfolio has fallen. I'll log back on when things start going up again. I do check CoinMarketCap every day, sometimes twice or more, so I keep informed.
Shit! I'm from the past (1923) and could have REALLY used this info in my time!
Ha...ha.. :D
