We're seeing a bit more green than this morning, as we've gained $2B in Market Cap. Litecoin, Dash and Gnosis are seeing huge gains over the last week, but Veritaseum is still leading the pack at a whopping 111%. Almost everything else looks fairly stable within a few +/- percentages over the last 24 hours. Interestingly enough, Bitcoin is continuing to rise the closer to August 1st we get. Are people buying it up to dump it right before that key date? Or perhaps they're just optimistic about the future? If you're like me you're probably not worried about what happens in the short term, but it should be a fun ride the next few weeks as people continue to argue and more news is released.

Last May Bitcoin.com reported on how the Bitcoin network’s hashrate surpassed four exahash per second. Just two months later on July 1st, the hashrate has increased another two exahash which transcended to a high of 6,622,799,000 GH/s according to Blockchain.info and Bitcoin Wisdom statistics.

For about a week and a half, the Bitcoin network’s transaction congestion and rising fee market has subsided. People are now reporting on how they are sending transactions for smaller fees, and some of them are having difficulty with wallets that are recommending fees that are much higher than needed.

Completely agree! It's also great that they've broken it down into different chunks along the road map. So much to look forward to. Here's a great article outlining the roadmap a bit from a few months ago. It was awesome to see them take over @crypt0's channel and give some updates :D

We've been bouncing back and forth over that $100B mark - it'll be nice when we're over it and stable, but I think a lot of people are just uncertain about what's gonna happen these next few months. For me - I believe in a lot of these projects long term, so regardless if there's a crash or something like that...I'll be here riding the roller coaster.
We are 100% on the same boat because I will check my balance in 3-4 years no next month for sure... but I think people are just too into FOMO so as soon as they read there is even the smaller problem they panic and sell....
Yeah, exactly. People that own stock and hold them long term are generally not checking their holdings every day (hours/minute!). With things like Blockfolio we're much more likely to look when we've got it with us on our phone at all times =\
