IRS Woes and Sticking it to The Man

in #crypto-news7 years ago

Here we have another attempt of the IRS strong arming a company.

This use of its power is a form of illegal search and seizure. They can not just take your account passwords from you. It is a violation of your unalienable rights.
It's time that we as citizens unite and stand up for what we believe in.
Now, let me be clear, I am not advocating to skip out on paying your taxes. That's something you are legally required to do, until we as citizens vote to abolish income tax. Crosses fingers
What I'm advocating for is to stop the IRS's illegal invasion of our privacy. We as citizens do not get to see what these agencies do behind closed doors. Why should they get to access my private accounts without my consent?
A change is coming, folks. It's time to pick up your metaphorical pitchforks.

That is surely a matter of concern. No government institution should have the right to violate the privacy of the masses it governs, by doing so they are taking people for granted about tolerating such exploitation of their authority. Also the CIA and the NSA have been using all sorts of means to spy over the common man. Its high time we unite against these actions. They need to be reminded about their basic purpose of serving the nation and not going unethical this way.

They will start targeting individuals crypto accounts too soon, if they haven't already

Here here! A change IS coming, and it's people like you speaking up that creating movements!

Thanks for the post! Just wait until they try to regulate the market. I don't believe there's any sort of legal standings for cryptocurrencies (in the US) so it's a bit like the Wild West right now. It's not surprising that governments would try to take advantage of these systems in order to gain power and control, but it is disconcerting and people should be on guard.
