22% of Forbes 50 financial tech list is cryptocurrency based

11 out of 50 on Forbes Fintechs 3rd year are cryptocurrency companies.
Robinhood and Veem made the list, without mentioning their cryptocurrency side.
However, in this list they had a separate blurb describing what industry they were disrupting.

Forbes also writes-

““building infrastructure—to support both public cryptocurrency markets and initiatives that could transform how current financial transactions are executed and recorded.”

I would say that this issue of the Fintech strongly validating crypto is a large contributor to todays rally.

Dubai taking steps for crypto

Dubai is announcing to take charge in the crypto revolution, where the United Arab Emirates (AUE) lag behind. They are working on their own personal, local cryptocurrency emCash announced Oct 2017.

Now, they have given a gold trading company the first cryptocurrency trading license in the Middle East. The company has responded by announcing the ‘worlds first’ cold storage cryptocurrency vault.

Imagine, Dubai, embracing the crypto tech and launching themselves into the new age as a safe haven for crypto. Would bring alot of heavy hitters to their soil.

Hackers use Google ads to steal over $50 Mln in crypto

Hackers have claimed over $50 Mln in Crypto by leveraging google adds and similar domain names as popular crypto wallets, such as blockchien.info, making minor changes that if you’re tired could be glazed over.

Many of these Black Hat attacks have been Russian based, and in specifics Ukraine.
Things such as this has forced facebook to ban Crypto adds entirely.
Too many things they are unaware of, I wonder if Google will double down or follow suit?

Because this is harsh. Having a sponsored, targeted add can put you above the legitimate site in a google search… Making it easy to miss that tiny notice that it’s a ‘sponsored’ link, with one character wrong in the URL.

Only way I see to serve this, is creating a new certificate for ‘Secure’ Crypto sites.
