'Crypto Valley' in Zug, Switzerland, has decided that the use of bitcoin for Swiss Federal Railway's tickets payment will be permanent. Plus, the city council will look into more bitcoin payment implementations in other areas of Swiss Municipal services.

Positive Bitcoin Experiment
Since July, commuters could use bitcoin to pay for their ticketing fees. It was a pilot program to test the feasibility of implementing bitcoin technology into the people's everyday life. The result of the experiment is out:
"[...] a worthwhile experience for us to install and test the technology for bitcoin payments [...]" stated President Dolfi Müller.

Switzerland is well-known for it banking secrecy. And now it is even more synonymously in line with secrecy as bitcoin is implemented into the Swiss' payment options.

'Crypto Valley' is also aiming to be at the forefront of technologies. They will be looking to implement e-Government blockchain services in time to come.
