I would say I'm irked but not dismayed. Three days ago I decided to try cashing out a small amount of SBD for the first time. I followed some instructions and transfered 39 SBD into XBT. I was astonished when I realised it could net me £360!
I've done this type of thing with other cryptos before, so I'm not totally new to trading. I was intending to exchange the XBT for Sterling as soon as the transaction was completed.
Only the transaction just didn't get confirmed. And it still hasn't got confirmed. And I now realise that I'd changed my SBD into XBT when it was at its highest ever point. But i just didn't see myself as "buying Bitcoin" - I was only intending to use it as a transfer currency and immediately cash out into Sterling. OUCH!!!
But a good lesson, and I don't feel I've really lost anything as I was only expecting to get about £50 in the first place!
