Microsoft Azure Welcomes new partner OKcash to the Blockchain As A Service (BaaS) ecosystem, all of which can be tested out in the Azure DevTest labs now as seen on https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/ethereum-blockchain-as-a-service-now-on-azure/
OK The New Kid on the Block
Microsoft Azure is an open, flexible and scalable platform supporting an increasing number of distributed ledger technologies. Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) is a rapid, low cost, low risk sub-platform of the Azure environment. With Azure, projects and organizations can collaborate by experimenting with new business processes backed by the cloud. The Azure platform in the past has partnered with such names as Ethereum, Emercoin, LISK, Slock. It, Syscoin, Augur, Factom, Radium and Monero.
A brief overview on OK:
OKcash [OK] — OK cryptocurrency started out as a PoW/PoS hybrid during 2014 evolving in to a full PoS model, it aims to provide the fastest and most efficient decentralized system for transactions, data and consensus, it has a Long Term sustainability vision and its community/devs are on the top innovators over the Crypto — IoT environments.
Creators for one of the best cross collaborative IoT initiatives at ROKOS Bitcoin Fullnode http://rokos.space [BTC, OK, BLK, GMC and another 14 of the Favorite cryptocurrencies included].
Okcash is driven by passion, and has shown a level of polish in design and user interface that is difficult to find in most of the other cryptocurrencies.
The OK blockchain has never experienced any kind of glitches and its code has stood up to everything the community has thrown at it, is one of those rare cases when we can say that everything just works as it is supposed to, and the new users can find support in a fast and easy way over the different slack/irc/forums/social networks and channels, making it real friendly for tech and non tech users alike.
OK is becoming one of the first names in social payments and micro transactions across the web and bets for efficacy and social integration with a wide variety of platforms and options to support its adoption and trust among users.
The recent Microsoft Azure partnership is just one of the many steps taken by the community to push OK into the right direction, by providing every user with all the tools and options they require to deploy their OK nodes/clients. Like Docker, apt-get packs, direct clients, build guides and now Microsoft Azure 1 click deployments.
Wow, this seems cool. I've never heard of it before, but these micropayments are appealing to me, I think it has a real world use and fills a hole in the market plus the Microsoft partnership is a total win when it comes to promotion if nothing else and let's be honest sometimes it's what counts more (at least in the beginning).
I think it made a big impact on value of AntShares, it might as well do same for this one. Either way, I don't think Microsoft would dare to invest themselves and gamble with their name, if they thought it was shit and they are not stupid. This maybe a sleeping giant. I might buy some, just in case. Thanks for the post:)
Hey, there, thanks for the article, I'm alsi interested in OKcash. Been mapping it for a while and I think it has really good potential. It has huge user base, I'm surprised it's not at least in top 100, there are lots of platforms adopting it, gamers are using it and they have over 200 000 followers on Twitter, I mean I don't think I know of any coin that has more. It's interesting...maybe they just have bad marketing or simply are more focusing on the actual development first. Yeah, Microsoft is going big in the blockchain industry, I wish they had a coin, I'd surely bought some :D
Good post. I was about to post a similair post. The crypto space brings the biggest group of uneducated investors with it. This group will only grow. We do need to look better at the insights of every coin. What team is behind it, is there any management. How strong is the product, is there any product at all? This is quite an interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com They seem to give this complete indepth analysis of all cryptocoins. On: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Emercoin#analysis To see the: Emercoin Detailed analysis.
