I've been trying to buy Ripple since December 7th. Since then, I've watched it rise from 20 cents to its current price. I should be able to get some dollars through ETH and into a XRP wallet this weekend. It seems that you had to be in the exchanges and verified prior to Thanksgiving to really be part of this big rise.
