What's the next big Crypto-Currency going to be? My thoughts on my own personal investments

in #crypto-news8 years ago

So now that Bitcoin has gotten to where it's at what will be the next big Crypto-Currency?
Not just in terms of massive increase of the price of an alternate 'coin' but also in regard to the ease of use and the amount of stores and retailers that will accept the coin as payment.

I recently invested in some Dogecoin as this probably my favorite next to Bitcoin and Steem.
Steem is doing well and I have high hopes for it but I'm looking at the underdogs (or underdoges I should say).
Ethereum is doing quite well right now and I believe it will continue to do so....
It's always hard if not impossible to predict what the next coin will be that will rise to stardom.

Personally I am hoping Dogecoin will increase in influence and popularity and most of all, in price.

I would love to be able to go to Starbucks and see a list on the wall of the 12 or so different crypto's that are accepted there.... I know there are several bakeries and coffee shops (especially in Europe) that accept Dogecoin already.

Ripple I was a bit confused on until I researched and frankly it doesn't excite me as much as something like Dogecoin or even Peercoin or Reddcoin.

This will probably be a long process of deciding just how I want to invest overall but the start of this journey lead me to finally bite the bullet and invest in Dogecoin, like I had been 'meaning to' for the longest time..... and why not?
Look at that cute mischievous face and the 'memey-ness' of the whole thing just makes it an instant winner in my book.... gives me the warm and fuzzies.

What are all of your feelings on the next coins to go more mainstream and increase in value?

I'm hoping for some good conversation sparking on this because I know many people are very opinionated on which crypto-currencies are 'better than this or that' and the reasoning.... so I'd love to hear what you all have to say.

Am I unwise for investing in Dogecoin and should I move toward something else?
This is pretty much the start of investing in crypto-currency and I'm hoping I'm not TOO late to be jumping onto this train....

Peace out Steemians, I sincerely would love to hear all your answers on this! Thanks in advance!

The 100% premined coins with private mining like steemit are doing pretty well.

Easy to pump the coin when you own them all. It's like a stock. If you own them all then you sell them for the highest price you can.
