Digibyte vs Bytecoin | Current Market News

in #crypto-news8 years ago (edited)

Digibyte (DGB) and ByteCoin (BCN) are both currently trending upward in a bullish fashion.

Currently, BCN is closing on it's 24hr high, while DGB has a little ways to go.

ByteCoin is based on the CryptoNote technology which had a flaw, pointed out by Monero, which allowed double-spending and potentially the creation of unlimited coins. This flaw has been patched, as of April 16th, as reported today on the BCN website.

The DigiByte gaming coin, as reported on STEEM will find itself on Minecraft soon, although not in an official capacity.

Both coins have broken out the top bollinger band on Poloniex, and the volume seems to be supporting the spike. Although I think the market is testing DigiByte and will continue on a more average path as the day moves forward. And ByteCoin, while it should go up in the long term, is slightly more volatile of the two, and a little more risky right now, especially with the CryptoNote flaw news still spreading.

I expect these and most other altcoins to trend upward for the time being, as people take profits from bitcoin and reinvest in the market.

Both coins seem to have a future, although I'm wary of anything made with CryptoNote right now.

What are your thoughts about these coins and which one you think has more room to grow in the short term or long term?

Good article. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. The crypto market: High risk high gains!. That doesn't mean that a gain is guaranteed though. There's simply no guarantee in anything in life and especially not in a high risk market. An interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com The site is my go to place for crypto investment analaysis and indepth coin research.
