Let's discuss this and future bull runs!

in #crypto6 years ago

Hey All!

Today I would like to share my opinion about the current crypto bull run and ask the community a couple of question to hear your opinion as well.

If we presume that the bitcoin price will keep moving the same pattern (and I really hope it will :)) it did for the last 10 years then it should it $100.000 on 2021 and it should be already above $20.000 this winter.
Do you think it will happen, maybe it will much faster since many-many people talk about 2021?

If you remember on 2017 Ether did much more during that year and was even close to swapping with Bitcoin and becoming #1 ranked coin, though it lost much more after the market crash as well...
Maybe on the next ATH, it finally will, because to be honest, I don't remember when I've used Bitcoin last time, but I user Ether almost every day, to trade, to play or make payments and even getting crypto-payments from clients. It's becoming faster and faster after every update so that DApps can just show a short loader while waiting for the transaction to be submitted. And though there are many "Ethereum killers" in the game, like EOS or Tron I don't think DPoS/DPoW algorithms is enough to beat Ethereum community.
What do you think? Will Ethereum pass Bitcoin in the near future or it won't be able even to keep it's the current position?

Also, I'm very bullish about Stellar this year. I like to call it a "decentralized Ripple", Stellar team was able to keep Ripple's transaction speed, but avoid full centralization and considering recent news they are working hard to increase Stellar adoption and develop a bigger community. Being one of the top coins at the beginning, XLM lost its positions during 4-5 years and appeared at the top "from nowhere" in 2017 December.
Do you think Stellar's marketing policies will help to bring masses to crypto-community and will it cause Stellar to finally overpass Ripple?

Thanks for your time spent to read this, guys!
Please feel free to reply and share your opinion, especially if you're not agree with me and think that I'm missing something here :)

I am not sure etherum will surpass bitcoin in the next bull run in terms of price but in terms of %profit, etherum will definitely bring more gains than bitcoin. But I will rather invest in low cap altcoins than in Btc or Eth, because they already are overpriced.. Cheap coins like Dent, Vechain, Vail will bring more %gain to me in the bull run... That's my opinion.

I don't believe BTC will lose dominance over market, however it's not unlikely to see ETH being pushed by xrp (although i'm not it's fan) - it happened alrady - banksters are to strong at this point :P

Yeah stellar is doing pretty good job, especially with airdrops :D

ETH will be upgrading for many years to come 😂

I dont think ETH will surpass BTC. BTC has so called "first mover advantage", it has more use cases than just sitting and being "valuable" and for a while it will still be the first "safe" choice for newcomers to put your money in.
What comes to XRP, well i truly hope this centralized garbage will burn with a bright flame. Now, personal contempt aside, it just doesent make sense in this world. It offers almost nothing what the blockchain is meant to offer - XRP is just another regular database that is decorating itself with the idea of being innovative and decentralized solution. Banks would never adopt it if thats the case - too risky and giving away too much power!

Bitcoin is a groundbreaking technology based on math and crytology. It is tried and proven to have been the first form of digital currency to solve the problem of doublespending. It is quickly gaining mass acceptance as the next form of money and is destined to solve many of the current problems with fiat money, including non scarcity, inexpensive banking and transport, and decentralization that keep the greedy and unscrupulous middlemen out of the equation.
