We use to have a normal track record to go by where if a coin was listed on Coinbase as long as you where in it in the first few hours you where going to make a profit.

Now that's out of the way lets jump into this.
Every coin that has ever gotten listed on coinbase ended up shooting up by at least 20% on just the news of it. However that was until XRP Ripple was listed and well honestly no one cared lol. It still trades at the same price or slightly below when the announcement was made.
However as of yesterday Bitcoin seems to be moving into POS (Proof of stake) coins which is almost like having a interest based coin in your coinbase account. When you think about it its pretty awesome and I am curious how coinbase is going to handle it.
That coin being TEZOS has been announced to be the next coin to be added.
I have yet been able to buy it from coinbase itself but just from the news we are up 58% and it looks like still climbing. I am curious if that trend will continue once it can be bought on coinbase itself.
Because of this new listing people are suspecting Coinbase to go with more POS coins and cardano seems like a popular one at the moment.
However this also brings up a huge possible issue with POS as we move forward. It would mean coinbase or other systems that run these pools for POS would be majority owner creating a very powerful centralized system instead of decentralizing it.
If you are in it for the quick few hour price gains why not just go for Binance Launch Pad projects?.
Verify your account and get in.
Just for the record, I personally don't do anything like this even coinbase listings. Not My Style Bro ;)

Interesting changes indeed! Coinbase continues to get deeper into the mix which is fine with me! I think the Tezos jump is due to the extraordinary amount of additional liquidity Coinbase adds whereas previous assets like XRP were already quite popular elsewhere.
