Definitely going to look into it more. Have heard about the project in the past, but I dismissed it because I didn't think giving away something for free that you can already get for free many places is an issue. Then again, I live in a major urban area. Thanks for the lead.

Yeah, the geographic span that they can have and also the fact that the SPEED can be so greatly improved compared to most current free wifi areas are key factors. :)
