Why We Aren't Even At The Biggest Growth Rate For Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin

in #crypto7 years ago (edited)

If we take a look at where we truly are in terms of adoption for cryptocurrency, you may be shocked to see that we are very likely in the early adoption or innovator portion of the technology adoption curve. The market cap for cryptocurrency sits at 173 billion dollars as of this post. The projected market cap of the world is roughly 70 trillion US dollars. If you are like me and believe cryptocurrencies will replace fiat, then you'll agree that the majority of the market will eventually convert to cryptocurrencies.

Below is the technology adoption curve, and as you can see we would be classified as innovators at this point. As the technology continues to grow, the growth rate curve speeds up. The market will more grow more than 20 times before we start to hit the significant growth rate for the technology. Will we all be rich as a result? Let me know your thoughts:
