My first encounter with crypto

So last year around October 2016, a friend of mine already knew about Bitcoin. He introduced me to it and I eventually open up a Blockchain account, only because I wanted to make a purchase from a site. This later came back to bite me because at the time one Bitcoin was around 600 dollars. So I uploaded about 25 dollars into my Blockchain wallet and spent 23 of that on something online. So fast forward a year I don't really check up on my wallet much or check into Bitcoin much between time, just here and there. Well my 2 dollars had turned into 18 dollars and the balance of 25 dollars I spent would have been around 200. I was sold that day
