The Bitcoin Trend - Update

in #crypto5 years ago (edited)

You'll find my logic on the current bitcoin trend in the previous posts. Today is just an update on standings. The only uncertainty is gauging market interest. Yes, DeFi has us all in a frenzy (it's damn amazing!) but nobody outside crypto give a shit about it. Even most of my friends in crypto can't see what's coming (YET). News are blown out of proportion (to the upside and to the downside) and it's negative news that has the biggest effect on the market. People would rather be scared than see the good news because they have something to protect and acting to safeguard it is basic instinct.

At this point it seems like the market is turning back to normal and the trend looks identical to the previous cycle (except for the hash wars and Tether pump). Update on my previous graph as seen below. Orange is our current price action on the Third Cycle Price Axis and Blue is the previous cycle price action on the Second Cycle Price Axis.

Getting rid of the clutter gives the below graph. This trend show that you won't see a massive explosion at least for the next year. People like Max Wright predicting two bulls within one cycle at the time we were coming out of the hash war dump I'm sure contributed immensely to the Tether pump (and many more with other bullrun predictions). This again show the importance of not allowing emotions to drive your decisions and also not to fall for other peoples hunches. People like him talk with a lot of confidence but they have no stake in the outcome and only care about the income they generate from people seeking information. Making 100 predictions and focusing only on the ones they got right is the name of their game.
