Every day, I'm finding new and exciting info of things about Cosmos Hub. Because of it, I'm finding myself checking on my Twitter more often nowadays. I'm particularly checking on the latest about Osmosis and how it's progressing. I must say, the growth in the Total Value Locked is amazing! It only shows how liquidity plays an important role in the success of a coin. And many understand why they have to put their assets at risk of "impermanent loss" for the greater good of the ecosystem. Aside from the bountiful APYs, I believe many of the Defi users are mainly providing potential holders outside the ecosystem a way to access the specific coin frictionlessly.
It's especially true for AKT (Akash Network native coin). In the past, AKT struggles when it comes to listing in top-tier exchanges and liquidity as well. Now, anyone can simply buy ATOM on major exchanges and then send the coins to Osmosis to exchange with AKT and stake them in their Keplr Wallet. AKT's listing on Osmosis made it very accessible from anywhere in the world.
Also, Osmosis's success in harnessing the IBC feature has made known to other Cosmos Hub projects to be motivated to get involved as well.
Recently, I learned that ThorCHain will be plugging into the IBC as well. This means that we will be able to see some RUNE pairings in the near future.
Also, LUNA and ROWAN will be joining the IBC gang as well. I'm particularly excited to see ROWAN get involved, I've been trying to get their coins for a while now but due to the high fees in Uniswap, I'm discouraged to do so. ROWAN joining the Osmosis party only means that I will be able to get my hands on them soon!
Another awesome news! LUNA & UST will be joining as well. UST will be the first stablecoin to show up in Osmosis pools soon! I like farming using stablecoins and so I have high hopes that another stablecoin would be joining as well. I'm a fan of stablecoin pairs and I'm sure that many also like to farm in Osmosis without having to deal with the "impermanent loss".
