I was interviewed by Tai Zen this past week and had the chance to speak about Steem/Steemit.
Topics covered:
- How I discovered crypto currency
- What is my education background
- What is my craziest travel experience
- How did I decide to begin a Youtube channel focused on cryptocurrency
- What is my vision for benefiting the crypto world
- How to help bring more females to crypto
- Which cryptos I find valuable
So cool Heidi, Tai Zen and Leon Fu Dot Com are one of my favorite crypto youtubers.
They are so down-to-earth and just all around great guys. I was so happy they reached out to me, I'm looking forward to future collaborations with them!
Good luck with that! :)
If you are on with them again, I hope there will be less preoccupation with your gender. I found it first annoying and then just uncomfortable. A few minutes in I just had to stop watching.
For my part, I'm far more interested in your knowledge than your chromosomes.
Amen to that!
And by the way, your solo work is great. After 4 years of involvement with cryptocurrency I still have trouble grasping some concepts, and you lay it out in a very understandable way. Good production value too.
That means a lot, thank you.
Great job on giving exposure to Steem too! Awesome!!! You're crypto-currency activism is so well needed and valued. Thank you so very much! Have a good one, keep on taking good care and thriving and namaste :)
We don't need Mitchell or @andrarchy for marketing! @heiditravels is one mean Steemit marketing machine :))
Excellent job, Heidi! It was great watching. Best of luck for your further collaborations with these guys!
Great interview, thanks for the shoutout at 21:30
keep up the fantastic work with cryptotips.
I think Crypto has yet to break out of it's "nerd money" phase. It is important for it's growth and development to reach out to the average person.I appreciate your efforts in bringing crypto to the masses. Nice Steemit promotion as well :)
I can understand wanting to save energy, I'm not saying PoW is perfect either. But no one can seem to explain to me in simple terms how PoS is supposed to stay secure without mining.
If the higher stake gives you preference to perform security duties for the network, get rewarded, and stake can be purchased with fiat which is unlimited and unsupervised...what kind of security is this?
How can we even think about preventing the people who have access to printing unlimited money from taking over and voiding the security to rule out the competition?
With unlimited money you could easily bribe miners too. Dan blogged about POS security a lot, he said that there was a way to prevent someone from taking over the network ( don't remember exactly how, you will have to search through @dan @dantheman's posts if interested).
Also ethereum POS is coming soon , so we will see how they protect a 4 billion network against corruption...
Heidi, you come across as a very thoughtful, sweet, down to earth person. Good luck to you!
Nice!
Oh luminous voyager in and beyond the realms of steem! I so appreciate everything you bring to this community! Will you join our community map / directory efforts and help us spread the word? I would love to see you there. Cheers! brandon.
Solid channel I have been watching since they started it. Let them know their channel has my full support here. Good luck Heidi was a great video. Would be great to see them post their videos to Steemit again.
Maybe Tai Zen is scared to post because our community is immature. Upvoting a meme that bashes a "shit coin", and someone's ethnicity, for fun is not proper etiquette in my book.

Indeed.
I've also lately been thinking about the fact that so many youtubers that post their videos here get very little money and that this in turn may reflect badly on their brand when it is shown under the video.
This likely makes a lot of established content creators a bit hessitant.
Great job in pushing the envelope! You are an inspiration to women who are hesitant in exploring blockchain and steemit! Keep pushing the boundaries Heidi.
nice post
Great job
You did really great, looking forward to see more informative videos from you.
I'm kind of a newbie here, at least when it comes to social side of steem. I tried to mine some,
longshort story: it's no longer possible.I really enjoy your posts! :)
(this video is waay to long, but still good to watch)
Don't let them think that crypto is only man's world ;)
nice collaboration !
go on !

I agree that PIVX is a great coin and totally undervalued!
