What nobody tells you about the music industry

Well I finally did it, after years and years of trial and error I finally have enough attention on me to say i've made it in the music industry. I sit at home all day getting paid just to sit around, I cant go outside without atleast 4 or 5 people recognizing who I am, and im getting more offers than I can keep up with. Growing up I always loved music, It's always been about the music to me but I learned fast the only thing that matters is profit. Not that theres anything wrong with money, but Jay Z said the music industry is worse than the drug game and I have to agree. You get used to it after a while, everyones out for themselves. I compare it to the stock market a lot of times, brutal cuthtroat and its every man for himself.

Honestly I couldnt have picked out a better job for myself, I know what I signed up for If you cant beat em join em. I never saw being an artist as an unrealistic goal, I never thought of a plan b or anything like that. It seems like an unrealistic goal but if you know what you're doing its really not. but you are required to be a different person at all times and you also are gonna lose all your friends.monimovies.jpg
