The Other Day Someone Asked Me, "How Much Have You Lost in Crypto?"
My losses due to mistakes and stupid trading would easily surpass 30 BTC since the beginning of 2017. I don't want to tell you about the costs from 2014-2016. People need to remember that this is a very immature market. We are learning as we go. Every project has their own rules. This means we have a hill of education to climb. It seems everyday something in our world changes and this makes it all the more difficult to keep up.

We all make mistakes, and I'm definitely not exempt from that either. I almost missed out on the INS airdrop before I read about MEW being scanned to see who'd transferred any out over the course of the month.
Like you say, we're learning as we go, and I'm sure there are many hard lessons to be had along the way. It's all worth it though!
I missed the INS one. That is a huge mistake I forgot about. Add another $10K to the pile. I lost all of my INS.

Credit to you though, you've never let it stop you from making progress. And that's the most important thing about this. Learning from mistakes, and carrying on!
You can lose money on crypto? The market shot up from 17 Billion in January 2017 to 600 Billion on 31 December 2017… basically every coin gained. You can only lose money if you sell low and buy high every day. If you hold the trend is up up up.
Now imagine if I have those few thousand Smart that I would receive. The coin moons to $10. That is a nice down payment on a Lambo. ; )
Good users know good and don’t afraid their mistakes. What is much more important to analyze and learn them. This way you will improve your skills for understanding the market.

To err is human. We all commit mistakes. It is useless to cry over mistake. However we should learn from the mistake and try to repeat the same mistake. Only those man can drown who swim. @hilarski you very right about mistakes. The wallet one with #smartcash is so common. Some people have used several addresses that add up to 1000 and wondered why they do not get smartrewards.

Yeah you are right every project has their own rules.And in start we don't have much information that's we do some mistakes.And every day changes take place in our world, so we should learn about those change so that we don't do any mistake.

@hilarski there is so much truth in this post. I like how you said that your mistakes have cost you 30 BTC. When you factor in the cost of a traditional education, you probably got a good deal on what you learned from early 2017 vs. the expected payout from that education. ROI beats traditional education for sure.

That's good advice. We all make mistakes. The key thing is to learn from our mistakes. That's one thing that I find most fascinating about cryptocurrency - there's always more to learn.

My only loss was funding an ICO from an Exchange wallet, I learned the hard way
Many say that if you hold your present coins. No one time, it will increase. But, It is not always true for all coins. There is a lot to learn in the crypto market.

When it comes to losses through mistakes then i am veteran in it. When i came to crypto i repeated the similar mistakes and faced some losses. All in all i am happy that i am learning things along the way.
